Automatic back-ups

Stamp Album Studio can back-up your album automatically while you are working on it. This prevents loss of work when for some reason your computer crashes or in case of a power failure.

If something has gone wrong, the next time you start Stamp Album Studio a message will be displayed dat back-ups have been found and you will be asked if these must be repaired. After confirmation the album will be shown as what it looked like at the time of the last back-up.

In the screen "Settings" on the tab "Files" you can indicate if you want automatic back-ups and the time interval between back-ups. The shorter the interval the more recent your repaired back-up will be in case of a system crash. On the other hand, a short interval can cause a performance degradation of your system. Therefore, choose a reasonable time interval, for example 5 minutes.
